The Caz Tri sold out in 2010 and 2011 so you may want to register soon to take advantage of the early season entry rates and ensure your entry into your Caz tri race of choice.
We may again offer 2 race distances in 2 disciplines: Sprint & Intermediate / Triathlon & Aquabike (all races are USAT Sanctioned) as well as The Hoffman Road Hill Climb, a novice swim wave (Sprint Tri only), special youth rates, and Cazenovia College dorm room rentals for Caz Tri racers & guests.
Open Wave Race
You may recall that in 2010, to celebrate the 10th Annual Caz Tri we hosted an Open Wave Race for more competitive triathletes within the Sprint Tri.
For 2011 we hosted an Open Wave Race within the Intermediate Tri (only). If you can complete an intermediate tri in 2:40 (for males, 3:00 for females), you may want to join us for this unique event.
Prizes go 10 deep for this opt in wave.
Caz Tri Relay Options
For 2011 we be offered a Sprint Relay race only (no Intermediate).
However we will be offering separate prizes for Male, Female & Co Ed relay teams to incentivize this category.
The relay team limit will be 30 teams total so get your team together soon!
Du Tri the Hills
For 2011 we were a part of the inaugural “Du Tri the Hills” Series. This was a 3 event race series composed of:
- Du the Lakes Tri – May 7th 2011
- The Cazenovia Triathlon – August 14th 2011
- The Cazenovia Hillbender Bicycle Race – October 2011
The series will open a registration site shortly offering a discounted entry to those who enter all races in the series.
